Tomorrow is the day!

Hiya,

Tomorrow is launch day for my book:

How To Change Your Life One Day At A Time

I will post 2 links here tomorrow:

#1. Will be to a Free Training page which you could share with your friends, family, readers or subscribers who may not know if they want to buy a copy – yet! 😉

#2. Will go direct to the sales page if you are ready to buy.

Remember, everyone that buys a copy during the launch will get free access to the 90 Day ‘Change Your Mindset, Change Your Life‘ Program. Here’s what one of my students said about the program:

Now I have completed the program I have come up with a plan to change the parts of my life I am not happy with, I know what direction I want to go in and have set out many steps to make this possible. My finances have gone from in the red to in the black for the first time in 14 years.” ~ Gareth S.

I’ll also post a list of countries that will be able to get it direct from my website (where it’ll be half the price of Amazon!!).

I will sign the first 100 copies bought.

Thanks

Stu

Take the opportunity today to enhance your Affirmations

Hiya,

A couple of weeks ago I suggested you take the opportunity to create some Affirmations.

Then I promised I’d show you how you can enhance those Affirmations with one little trick – this is that post.

Noah St John, author of ‘The Secret Code Of Success’ encourages us to turn affirmations (positive statements about ourselves) into questions. He calls them Afformations.

The idea is that the mind wants to answer questions – it’s wired that way. So whilst it’s good to say to yourself each and every day: “I am so happy with my… partner or job or children or level of abundance.” or whatever.  It’s actually more powerful an exercise to ask: “Why…am I so happy with my…?” After asking, our mind runs off to go and find relevant information to be able to answer it. It actively searches for evidence of why you’re so happy with whatever it is.

This is a great exercise and one that I practise as often as possible – one caution though – make sure you keep your questions positive! If you ask: “Why don’t I have enough money?” for instance your mind will find the answers and evidence of that for you. The result might demo- tivate you instead of inspire you.

Enjoy

Take the opportunity today to create a win-win situation with someone you don’t like.

Hiya,

A few pages of my book are dedicated to creating win-win outcomes to certain situations. This is possibly the most difficult and challenging but give it some thought today. If you can succeed with this one I’m sure you can succeed in any circumstance.

So how do you go about creating a win-win situation with someone that annoys you? Well, that’s probably the hardest thing of all. When we don’t like someone we automatically set our competitive button to ‘max’. Instinctively we want to create a win (for me) – lose (for them) situation with hopefully a good portion of humiliation thrown in. But that’s not going to help us in the long term is it? No.

By working at creating a win-win situation you are probably going to set their ‘suspicion’ gauge running at the beginning, but with a bit of authentic reassurance you’ll find that most people will end up trying to meet you halfway. If you succeed, your relationship with this person will improve no end. Maybe they are a neighbour that complains about the noise, or a work colleague that criticises your work regularly, or maybe someone in your football team who’s sense of humour you dislike. Whatever the context, give it a try – the rewards could be very surprising. Many have found best friends this way.

Good luck and enjoy

Take the opportunity to understand your WHY.

Hiya,

Do you understand your WHY?
I recently watched a presentation by Greg Habsritt where he talked about
how most companies market themselves based on ‘What‘ they do,
a smart minority market themselves on ‘How‘ they do what they do,
and a smarter, smaller minority market themselves on ‘Why‘ they do
what they do.
It got me thinking about my Why.
At the risk of sounding ‘schmaltzy’ – it really is because I want to
inspire as many people as I can to realise that they CAN do it, whatever
IT is, they just need to know HOW.
Why is that my why?Because I really believe that everybody has the potential to achieve their goals. (Yeah, yeah, blah, blah! – I hear you.)

But think about it – how many times have you heard of the rags to riches success stories? How many entrepreneurs left school early and went on to create massively successful companies? How many athletes overcame enormous odds and went on to fulfil their dream of winning a major competition?

If they did – You can.

My pet hate, something that really gets me grrr! and hits my challenge button – is people that make excuse after excuse for why they can’t do something.

I believe that every one of us has a passion, we have a purpose, and that passion and purpose when ignited, has the potential to not only change our lives, but the lives of all of those around us, all those that we know, and possibly the wider world.

I want to play a part in igniting those passions. I want to be the catalyst for as many people as I can. For those that think they don’t have the brains, or the looks, or the stamina, or the confidence, or the money, or the resources, or the network, or anything else – maybe you don’t, but that might not be what you need to reach your goal.

I believe we are all entitled to live our lives our way and achieve our dreams using our own personal skills, personality, resilience and gumption!

It’s why I took an entire year to write my book:

How To Change Your Life One Day At A Time‘.
It’s why I spent 6 months producing my 90 Day Program:
Change Your Mindset, Change Your Life‘.
It’s why I decided to GIVE that away, as a gift, to everybody that buys
a copy of the book during the launch.Together, the book and the program systematically change a person’s mindset into one that sees the possibilities, sees the opportunities, enabling them to believe that they can achieve their goals, their dreams and live more contented, purposeful, passionate, joyful, happy lives.

Am I going to get rich selling this book. Highly unlikely!

That’s not what it’s about. I already live an abundant lifestyle, I’m by no means rich but I do have certain freedoms earned by running my own business. And I value those freedoms. They give me the opportunity to follow my passion:- helping as many people as I can follow theirs.

So to recap:

My ‘What‘ – A book and complimentary program that’ll guide you to fulfil your potential. My ‘How‘ – By teaching you how to change the way you think and then giving you daily guides that will help you take inspired action. My ‘Why‘ – because I believe you CAN do it – you just need to learn HOW. And that gets me fired up in the morning!Come on, let’s all change the world in our own unique way!

Mark the 20th May on your calendar as launch day.

Take care

Stu

Take the opportunity today to start an affirmation mantra.

Hiya,

This is kind of old school but I think it’s well worth doing. I’ve been doing it for years now and I’m absolutely convinced it has a positive effect on my daily attitude. “Every day in every way I’m getting better and better.” That’s a standard one created by the French psychologist Émile Coué.

At first it might feel a bit silly and a bit contradictory to how you’re feeling but stick with it. Do it in the morning and the evening when you are in a favourable physical and mental state. When we tell ourselves we feel a certain way over and over our subconscious begins to accept it as truth. The obvious example is the negative statements some people use; ‘I’m so fat.’ or ‘Nobody cares about me.’ or ‘I’m stupid.’ That’s a self fulfilling prophecy right there. As they repeatedly tell themselves those things their subconscious finds reasons to accept it. It recognises the behaviour of people around (which are often negative aswell – misery loves company right!) and reasons; ‘Hey, that person agrees with me’ or ‘That person is horrible to me’ etc. thereby making the statements true. Well if it works for negative statements it stands to reason that it’ll work for positive ones too. Give your subconscious the idea that you are confident, imaginative, creative, admired, loved etc. and it will find reasons to accept that.

You can only give it a go and see for yourself. Try it every day for a month and see if you notice a difference. Farther along I’ll give you another technique to use which magnifies the effect, but you need to create the habit first. Start each statement with “I am…” as this puts it in the present tense as if it already is that way.

Enjoy

Take the opportunity today to write down 10 achievements you are happy with in your life.

Hiya,

Every now and then we all need reminding of just how far we’ve come. What we’ve achieved, where we’ve been, what we’ve done and who we’ve shared it all with.

If you’re one of those people that think that your life has been a waste up till now, do this exercise as soon as possible. No need to stop at 10 either. When you’ve finished, read the list aloud and be proud of who you are. Now consider what you still can do, be, have, experience etc.

There’s a whole lot of life out there – go get some!

As Thomas Edison once said:

“If we all did the things we were capable of doing, we would literally astound ourselves.”

Enjoy
