How the way you ask yourself questions makes a BIG difference.

This is October 9th of my book:  ‘How To Change Your Life One Day At ATime‘.

Take the opportunity today to ask yourself a positive question.

Burt Goldman suggests this process as a way of staying positive. If for instance you were to ask yourself: ‘Why don’t I quit smoking?’ that would be negative. Your mind will actually go off and try and answer the question and it will find reasons, such as: ‘Because I like it.’ or ‘Because it relaxes me.’ This then convinces you to continue.

If however, you rephrase the question: ‘What would my life be like if I quit smoking?’ then your mind will find answers to that request, such as: ‘I’d feel better in the morning.’ or ‘This damn cough would go away.’ or ‘I could play with the kids without getting wheezy after two minutes.’ etc.

Next time you’re asking yourself something, try this process and see how different you feel.

Enjoy

Ever heard of Quantum Jumping? A powerful visualisation technique.

This is September 12th of my book:  ‘How To Change Your Life One Day At ATime‘.

Take the opportunity today to remember it’s never too late.

Burt Goldman is about 85 years old (at the time of writing this). In his life he has travelled the world and studied under many masters of thought. He has an online community with hundreds of thousands of subscribers that turns over millions of dollars each year.

He is also an award winning photographer and prolific artist that sells his paintings for thousands of dollars each. He also plays the piano and writes his own music – well he is 85 after all, he’s had a long time to achieve all these things.

Except…

He only started when he turned 80!

That’s right, at the ripe old age of 80 Burt decided to turn his mind to achieving things he’d been thinking about for a long time but never got around to. Thankfully he had been training his mind for many decades and therefore knew how to apply himself to each goal.

Guess what? So can You.

That’s right – it’s never too late to learn something new or apply something you know. It just takes the desire to do so. So if one of your excuses is: ‘it’s too late for me’ – take a lesson from Burt, the moment you take your last breath is when it’s actually too late.

I did this technique again the other day for the first time in a long time – and I’m glad I did, it was incredibly revealing and insightful. Do it – TODAY!

Are you too old to change?

Hiya,

Some people have questioned whether they are too old to read my book because it might be too late for them to change. Rather than try and convince them or you that you’re never too old to change I thought I’d post the story of Burt Goldman from p.291 of the book…

“Burt Goldman is about 84 years old (at the time of writing this). In his life he has travelled the world and studied under many masters of thought. He has an online community with hundreds of thousands of subscribers that turns over millions of dollars each year.
