Ever heard of constructive meditation?

This is October 30th of my book:  ‘How To Change Your Life One Day At ATime‘.

Take the opportunity today to make something.

I find that the act of making something can either be so absorbing that the clutter of daily thoughts fades into the background, or, making that thing is so automatic that your mind can drift away almost like meditating.

Whichever experience you have it will be valuable, plus you end up with something at the end of it. Maybe it’s dinner! Maybe it’s a painting or a sculpture, or a textile object.

Whatever it is it’s therapeutic to make it. It didn’t exist until you created it. That in itself is worth doing it for.

I call this ‘Constructive Meditation’.

I love it….. but not in the way you would expect me to! Stu, I’m so beginning to GET what this illusion is all for. The gin helps tremendously!!!! Lol. But the gin is just a distraction, and yet the HS is using it to lower my inhibitions and help me to look deeper. We don’t CREATE anything in this world BECAUSE nothing in it, or even the world itself, even exists! Anything we think we create is only part of the illusion! But we can, and MUST, use the illusion…. that’s what the Holy Spiriit uses it for, to escape from this world of illusion. However, it doesn’t say that we cannot enjoy the illusion. In deed, it says that when we see it for the illusion it really is, all fear, guilt, etc, is gone and we can then REALLY begin to enjoy the experience…. because we know it’s not real… like watching a movie…. nobody really gets hurt!! Bless you. x

Somebody could pose the question Jo: But what if it IS real? But I would say they’ve missed the point. If believing it’s all a great illusion creates more joy, contentedness, calm and fulfilment in someone’s life – who cares if it’s real or not?
