What’s the most valuable gift you can give?

This is August 21st of my book:  ‘How To Change Your Life One Day At A Time‘.

Take the opportunity today to help someone else be resourceful.

So, following on from yesterday, if you discovered ways to become more resourceful – share them. Find someone else that might be struggling with some issue or another and offer your insights to them. They may reject them, and that’s ok. It might not be a one size fits all or they might not be ready for those insights yet.

Accept the way people react to your trying to help. It’s easy to feel upset, or angry or disappointed that someone doesn’t follow your good advice. But let it go. You tried.

Most people will accept help when offered so keep offering. And if you can help them become more resourcful you will have given them something invaluable.

In my book – one of the most valuable gifts you can give.

Enjoy

  2. I am surrounded by teenagers, so when they come to me with an obstacle they can’t overcome I don’t jump at the chance to give them the answer (according to MOI) I ask them questions to get them thinking and to see that the solution is in them…hopefully their learn to trust their instincts and specially their inner voice and before going out and asking others, they’ll sit quietly and ask themselves… 🙂 I hope it works! 3. lead by example I say… sometimes people seeing what you do to be resourceful…makes them think about what they are doing!
stepping out of our routine is what is so hard…but, so worth it sometimes!
