Have you ever upset somebody and never apologised? Even if you don’t
agree that what you did or said was wrong or incorrect? Even when you
now know that they are getting upset and that is their responsibility,
that what you say or do should have no bearing on how they ‘feel’?
If so, make amends.
Life is too short to hold grudges or to have grudges held against us.
Make amends with that person even if they are no longer a part of your
life. Find some way to patch it up, make it good. I’m not suggesting
you admit you were wrong if you think you weren’t, I’m just saying
find a way to make it better.
Then you can take a deep breath and carry on with your life – you’ll
feel better I promise.
